Hello, my name is Filip
I'm lazy. It's comfortable. Do unnecessary things unnecessarily.
A bit like Bill Gates said:
âI always choose a lazy person to do a hard job, because a lazy person will find a light way to do it.â
Now you might be thinking: âDid Philip have Bill Gates as a mentor?â
That answer comes further down.
But first, let me explain why lazy people are smart people.
For we love Smart integrations that automates our workflows.
I'm so lazy that I've even produced a manual on the subject.
I call it:
Philip's Guide to an Automated Workflow (a Four-Stage Rocket)âą
The idea is simple:
Work as little as possible â without compromising on results.
Imagine a self-playing piano. You get the point.
1. Target image
Start with the vision of your utopian, automated and integrated world.
What does it look like? What is the purpose?
Examples:
âOur systems and programs should (as far as possible) communicate with each other to simplify our workflow.â
2. Current state
Inventory inventory.
What programs do you work in on a daily basis?
The most common ones tend to be:
- Telephone switchboard
- Chat and video app
- Office Packages
- CRM systems such as Upsales or HubSpot
- Kanban (e.g. Trello)
- Support Tools
- Economy system
- Survey Tools
3. Gameplan
Now the fun begins -- and the creative.
Time to pick out your inner MacGyver.
Look at how you can connect the systems in a hub or, if you ask me, in a digital workplace.
Start with the most used applications: frequent chat, video and telephony.
The goal is that with as few clicks as possible, you will have access to all relevant information.
Think like this:
- What would happen if your CRM spoke to your phone, so that you can see who is calling immediately?
- Or if Trello told your chat tool: âAnna has moved a card!â
Clever, right?
4. Make a good choice
Choose a provider who understands your inner laziness â one who does the work for you.
Test, feel and squeeze before you decide.
Once you find the right system, you'll thank yourself (and maybe me).
VoilĂ -- the four-stage rocket is complete. đ
Did I have Bill Gates as a mentor?
Can pigs fly?
I mean, no.
But something I've learned from him (or rather his philosophy) is that embrace my laziness.
Thinking smart instead of hard.
A bit like us at lynes Telephony I usually say:
Keep it simple â make it easy.
Our philosophy at lynes
When I started at lynes five years ago, I quickly realized that it's all about smart workflows.
We ourselves use multiple integrations every day, and lynes is at the heart of everything we do.
It is our hub â our central place for communication and collaboration.
lynes is not only:
- A corporate switchboard
- A chat program
- A video tool
- Or a survey tool
It is All of that â and some more.
Some smart integrations in lynes
